Before You Connect
TikTok requires a Business Account to enable third-party publishing. Personal TikTok accounts cannot be connected.
Switch to a TikTok Business Account:

2. Tap the three-line menu → Settings and privacy
3. Tap Account → Switch to Business Account
4. Follow the prompts and select your business category
Note: Switching to a Business Account is free and does not delete any existing content.

TikTok Content Specifics
TikTok has different content requirements than other platforms:
- Format: Vertical video (9:16 aspect ratio), minimum 3 seconds, maximum 10 minutes
- Captions: Limited to 2,200 characters, hashtags included
- Audio: Original audio, licensed music, or voiceover (no copyrighted music from unlicensed sources)
Your Aibrify team creates TikTok content specifically designed for the platform's algorithm and audience. They stay current with trending formats and audio to maximize reach.
Important: TikTok's Content Policy
TikTok has strict content policies. Your team is trained to create TikTok-compliant content, but be aware that:
- Promotional content must comply with TikTok's advertising policies
- Certain industries have restrictions (financial services, healthcare, etc.)
- Posts that violate TikTok's guidelines may be removed by TikTok directly
If you're in a regulated industry, message your team to discuss any content restrictions that apply to your account.
Troubleshooting
Authorization fails:
Ensure you're authorizing with a Business Account, not a personal account. Check your account type in TikTok Settings → Account.
Connection drops:
TikTok tokens can expire. Check Dashboard → Platforms and reconnect if you see a warning status.
