To request changes to a scheduled post, open it in your Content Calendar and click "Request Changes." Write specific feedback and submit — your team will revise and resubmit within 1 business day.

How to Request Changes to a Specific Post

If a post doesn't meet your expectations, requesting changes is straightforward.

Step-by-Step

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Content Calendar
  2. Find the post you want to change (filter by "Pending Approval" to see drafts)
  3. Click the post to open the preview panel
  4. Click Request Changes
  5. In the feedback box, describe exactly what you'd like changed
  6. Click Submit
  7. The post status changes to Needs Revision
  8. Your team will revise and resubmit within 1 business day
  9. You'll receive a notification when the revised version is ready

Writing Effective Change Requests

The quality of your feedback directly affects how quickly and accurately the team can deliver the revision you want.

Be specific:

- Instead of: "I don't like the caption"

- Write: "The caption is too long and formal. Please shorten it to 2 sentences max and use a more casual tone."

Reference the exact text:

- Instead of: "Fix the product name"

- Write: "The product name in the caption is 'AutoPilot' but it should be 'Autopilot' (lowercase p)."

Explain the why (when helpful):

- "We're removing the word 'cheap' from all our messaging — please use 'affordable' instead."

- "This promotion ended last week — please update or remove the reference."

For visual changes:

- Describe what you want to change and what you'd prefer

- Example: "The stock photo doesn't feel right for our brand. Can you use a more professional office setting instead?"

Requesting Strategy-Level Changes

For bigger picture feedback that applies to all content (not just one post), use Dashboard → Messages instead of the Request Changes button. Examples:

  • "We want to post more educational content and fewer promotional posts"
  • "Please shift to video-first content on Instagram for the next month"
  • "Our tone needs to be more authoritative — we're positioning as an expert brand"

Your team will incorporate strategy feedback into the next production cycle.

Tracking Change Request Status

You can see the status of all revision requests in your content calendar:

  • Needs Revision — Your request was received; team is working on it
  • Pending Approval — The revised version is ready for your review
  • Approved — You've signed off on the revision

Requesting Changes to Published Posts

If you spot an issue with a post that has already gone live:

  • The post cannot be unpublished through Aibrify — you would need to delete it directly on the social platform
  • Message your team in Dashboard → Messages to let them know about the issue so they can avoid the same mistake in future posts
  • If the issue is urgent (misinformation, offensive content), delete it directly on the social platform immediately

Frequently Asked Questions

How many times can I request revisions on the same post?

There's no hard limit on revision requests. However, if you find yourself requesting many rounds of revisions on every post, it's worth having a strategy conversation with your team via Messages to realign on brand voice and content direction.

What if I need a post changed urgently before it publishes?

Open the post in your content calendar, click Request Changes, and mark your request as Urgent. You can also message your team directly in Dashboard → Messages. During business hours, urgent requests are typically addressed within a few hours.
