Accessing Your Account Settings
Navigate to: Dashboard → Settings → Account
Or click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Account Settings.
Updating Your Profile
Name
Your name appears in the dashboard interface and in email notifications. To change it:
1. Go to Account Settings → Profile
2. Update the First Name and Last Name fields
3. Click Save Changes
Email Address
Your email address is your login identifier and where notifications are sent.
1. Go to Account Settings → Profile
2. Click Change Email
3. Enter your new email address and confirm it
4. A verification link will be sent to the new address — click it to confirm the change
Note: Until you verify the new email, your account continues to use the original address.
Profile Photo
Uploading a photo helps your team identify you in conversations.
1. Click the avatar circle in Account Settings
2. Upload a JPG or PNG (recommended: square crop, minimum 200×200px)
3. Click Save
Changing Your Password
- Go to Account Settings → Security
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice
- Click Update Password
Password requirements: Minimum 8 characters. We recommend using a passphrase of 3–4 words or a password manager.
If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot Password on the login page — a reset link will be sent to your email.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app each time you log in.
To enable 2FA:
1. Go to Account Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
2. Click Enable 2FA
3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password)
4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm setup
5. Save your backup codes in a safe place
Strongly recommended if your account has access to multiple brands or billing.
Notification Preferences
Control what email and in-app notifications you receive:
1. Go to Account Settings → Notifications
Available notification types:
- Content ready for review — When your team submits new posts for approval
- Post published — When a scheduled post goes live
- Team messages — When your Aibrify team sends you a message
- Monthly report ready — When your monthly analytics report is available
- Billing alerts — Invoice generated, payment failed, plan changes
Toggle each notification type on or off for both Email and In-App separately.
Closing Your Account
To close your account, contact support via Dashboard → Messages or email support@aibrify.com. Account closure requires confirmation and a short processing period. See the article on Cancellation Policy for full details on what happens to your content and data.
